I was talking with this friend (hereinafter known as S) who had very bad experience in his previous relationship, about how 2 people of different religions in a relationship will usually end up going apart.
S, ever after his painful experience on this matter, has been feeling very uncomfortable with deeply devoted Christians around, especially those who always attempt to preach.
So I illustrated him with this instance.
" A mom had to be a prostitute in order to raise up her child. She is, no doubt the greatest mom in the eye of the child after all the sacrifices she had made. Nevertheless, in the eye of the public, she might be just not more than a bitch who has always been oppressively discriminated by the others"
So what do you think the mom is? (prostitute? great mom? hesitating?)
Look, there are people who take moral values as the measure of all things, while there are those who replace their priority depending the circumstances. So, in life you will always come across with different kind of people who have utterly different feelings or opinions on a similar matter. Unexceptionally, same goes for religious beliefs.
Christians might stress a lot of on the prohibition of premarital sex, Buddhists emphasize more on 'what goes around comes around' while the Muslims believe the whole universe was created Allah, and etc.
One could always have faith in what he/she believes in, what matters most is how you should be reminded of this -- never force your principles on anyone around you.
Because, there will be peace on earth only when there is peace among the world religions.
